The loss of gaboxadol was a kick in the teeth that we could have done without. First of all, with Merck involved, gaboxadol was destined to be a big brand. Second, it would have represented about 10% of our fee this year. And third, with Arcoxia® biting the dirt a few days later, how unlucky do you have to be to lose 2 big brands so close together? That’s the stuff we know. Now the dust has settled we should consider some of the lesser-known facts surrounding our experiences in the worlds of insomnia and pain.
